Dear Listeners of KZIM,
 
Some of you have heard about a local soldier from Jackson spending another Thanksgiving and Christmas from his family. I am writing to tell everyone THANK YOU for your generous giving to this soldier. Because of our awesome city of Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Advance, and other surrounding cities, my soldier husband has received boxes from you and from those boxes, you have touched the lives of his soldiers that are also without their families. I am this soldier's wife and I sit here in tears because of the kindness I have seen given to my husband and his fellow soldiers. To each and everyone of you, I say Thank you, though those words are not enough. We consider each one of you as dear friends and you do not realize how you have warmed my heart to know that our soldiers are thought of in such a esteemed way...I hope that one day I can repay just an ounce of what you have done for this family. My children thank you, the other families here at Fort Leavenworth thank you, and this proud Army soldier's wife thanks you. Attached I have sent a picture of the soldiers that you are helping and one of my family. Please keep our soldiers in your prayers..They guard the prison there at Camp Bucca and help keep the bad guys out of our country..They need your continued prayers and encouragement.
