State Senator Jason Crowell introduces his true “Missouri First” jobs plan
State Senator Jason Crowell of Cape this week filed five bills aimed to make the state more job-friendly to employers! The five-pronged plan would make Missouri a Right to Work state and be better able to compete with the job environment with neighboring states. His plan would also guarantee our minimum wage does not exceed the federal wage, reform the state’s tax credit system, and create ethics reform to current tax credits. Crowell tells KZIM KSIM this is the responsible way to direct taxpayer dollars towards job creation while still funding needed services like education and healthcare. Crowell says by making Missouri a Right to Work state, we don’t force employees to be part of a union. He says surrounding states that adopt this policy have unemployment rates almost 2-percent lower than Missouri.
